Bereris Ensemble , the vision of pianist and composer Yiorgos Bereris, navigates the space between jazz, chamber music, and East-Mediterranean traditions, crafting a sound both rooted and exploratory.

With a carefully curated ensemble of violin, duduk, clarinet, flute, bass clarinet, piano, double bass, and percussion, Bereris creates a unique compositional voice—one that is lyrical, immersive, and deeply authentic. The goal is not to juxtapose genres or cultures for novelty, but to find a common dialect where traditional instruments play an organic role in the ensemble, seamlessly integrated into the musical fabric rather than treated as exotic flourishes.

Featuring musicians from Greece, France, and Turkey, each performer brings a distinct cultural and musical identity, enriching the ensemble’s sound with depth and nuance.

Bereris Ensemble invites audiences into a world of storytelling through sound—where lyrical melodies, intricate harmonies, and dynamic rhythms come together in performances that resonate across borders and traditions.
